Job Title: Implementation Coordinator

Overview:

XIFIN, Inc ® provides a highly automated, web-based application with embedded infrastructure services to support the clinical labs with accounts receivable and financial management solution.

We are seeking an implementation coordinator with a solid understanding of the medical billing process, medical billing systems and experience in the setup and installation of an Accounts Receivable system.  The job will require constant interaction with customers as well as members of the installation and customer service teams.   The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and have the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.  Candidate may travel between 1 to 3 weeks a month during different phases of a project.  In addition, the person must possess good written and verbal communications skills.

Specific duties include, but not limited to:

  • Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of an Internet based AR billing system

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to map customer requirements to system functionality

  • Ability to teach customers how to maximize the capabilities of the system.  

  • Travel to customer site for installations and support          

  • Assist in customer training and support desk activities

  • Participate in testing and software QA activities  

  • Manage defect and enhancement tracking databases

  • Document, evaluate, analyze, and interpret data collected during testing

Required skills/Qualifications:

  • B.S. in a technical discipline, Business school or other formal training

  • 4+ years of medical billing or A/R experience and/or 2+ years experience installing a medical billing, A/R, or EMR system

  • MS Office proficiency, PCs and PC tools (Excel, Word)

  • Ability to communicate easily to all organizational levels, both orally and in writing

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of general business processes and concepts

  • Skills in planning, organizing, and adapting within a multi-tasking environment

  • Knowledge of medical billing and workflow management

  • Willingness to learn the XIFIN application

  • Appreciation for the importance of customer service

  • Good oral and written communication skills

Desirable:

  • Domain knowledge of medical billing and/or clinical lab billing is a major plus.

  • Prior experience with internet applications

  • SQL Proficiency; must be able to write complicated scripts

  • Works well in a team environment
