Job Title: Software Engineer
Overview:
XIFIN, Inc ® provides a web-based application that provides an accounts
receivable and financial management solution for medical laboratories.
Candidate will take business change requests, elicit
the technical requirements, then design and develop the solutions to enhance
or correct an Internet technology-based accounts receivable software package.
Candidate
is proficient in Java J2EE and is also is able to work on multiple assignments
independently, with a thorough understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Will have
thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation
and post implementation support.

Required skills/Qualifications:
BS
in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline Proficient
in Java and SQL. At
least 2 years of experience as a software engineer Familiarity
with using a change control software application, preferably StarTeam. Ability
to work in all phases of the software development life-cycle Demonstrated
excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills Effectively
communicate in writing and verbally to small groups
Desirable:
Financial
background Laboratory
or other medical industry background Experience
with automated testing tools, such as JUnit, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Java
servlet, XML, and/or SWING experience Experience
with X.12 EDI transactions Experience
